Name: Dromaeosaurus albertensis ("Swift Running Lizard" from Alberta)


Location: Judith River Formation, Montana

Date Found: 1914

Specifications: Length - 8 feet; Height - 3 feet

Information: Dromaeosaurus belongs to a group informally known as raptors.  Raptors are dinosaurs with a sickle-shaped killing claw on its hind foot.
